For the purposes of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados — LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018), ACEM is the controller of the personal data described below.

2. Scope
This policy covers personal data processed through this website and through the direct contact channels we make available on it (WhatsApp, email and telephone). This website does not have contact or registration forms and does not sell products online — it is an institutional site presenting our services and product catalogue.
3. What data we process
- Data you send us voluntarily. When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the data you choose to share — for example your name, company, phone number, email address and the content of your message or quotation request.
- Technical/navigation data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.
- Third-party map. Our Contact section embeds Google Maps. When it loads, Google may collect data under its own privacy policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
4. Why we process it and legal basis
We process the data above to respond to your enquiries, prepare quotations, carry out international trade and logistics operations you request, and to maintain the security of the site. Under the LGPD, our processing relies on your consent, on the performance of a contractor preliminary steps at your request, and on our legitimate interests in running and securing our business.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only as needed to carry out an operation you have requested — for example with logistics providers, carriers, suppliers or authorities involved in a shipment — and with service providers that support our operations (such as hosting and messaging platforms), always limited to what is necessary.
Because international trade is inherently cross-border, your data may be transferred to other countries in connection with an operation. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with the LGPD.
